Collection: Gift Sets

Most gifting decisions come down to budget and how much you know about the recipient's preferences. The collection breaks into three rough tiers.

Under $25: starter duos like Magnesium Duo, Shower Steamer and Bath Bomb, Cream and Soap. Two products that work together. Right for thank-you gifts, hostess gifts, or testing the brand.

$25 to $45: complete themed sets. The Night Ritual Starter Kit is built for wind-down. The Self Care Gift Box and Bath Ritual Set are general-purpose. The 6 Bath Soaks Gift Box and 6 Bath Bomb Gift Box are samplers with six different scents in one box, useful when you're not sure what they'll like.

$45 to $75: larger rituals. The Magnesium Ritual Box ($57) is the complete magnesium kit (Soak, Cream, Oil, Balm, Bath Bomb). Build a Box options ($38.95 to $73.63) let you assemble the box yourself.

If you don't know their preferences, default to a sampler. If they're stressed or sleep-deprived, the Night Ritual Starter Kit or Magnesium Ritual Box. If you want the recipient to have agency in the choice, Build a Box.

Three levels of customization across the catalog.

Most flexibility (add to cart and mark as gift), you pick both the products (soak, scrub, cream, bath bomb, and so on) AND the specific scent of each. Best when you know the recipient well enough to choose for them.

Some flexibility (bundles): Magnesium Ritual Box, Night Ritual Starter Kit, 6 Bath Soaks Gift Box, starter duos, and everything else.

The product mix is fixed (the Night Ritual Starter Kit always contains the same three product types), but you choose the specific scents within those products. So the Night Ritual Starter Kit stays a wind-down ritual, but you decide whether the soak is Calm, Stress Relief, Melatonin, or something else.

No flexibility (fixed sets): the Black Hatchet Men's Gift Box and Self Care Gift Box ship exactly as listed. No scent or product swaps. Both are built around a single tightly-curated experience.

If your recipient has strong scent preferences, pick a bundle or Build a Box, not a fixed set.

Scale and intent.

Starter duos ($15 to $25) are two products that work together. Magnesium Duo (any two magnesium products), Shower Steamer and Bath Bomb (two aromatherapy delivery formats), Cream and Soap (skincare pair), Soak and Scrub (bath ritual basics). Right for thank-you gifts, hostess gifts, brand-introduction gifts, or stocking-stuffer scale.

Full ritual boxes ($36 to $57) are 3-to-5-product complete experiences built around a theme. The Night Ritual Starter Kit is the full wind-down (lavender aromatherapy in the shower plus magnesium cream before bed). The Magnesium Ritual Box is the complete magnesium recovery system (five formats of one active mineral). The Self Care Gift Box is built around a single tightly-themed scent (white tea) across milk bath, shower steamer, and bar soap.

If you want the gift to feel meaningful but not overwhelming, the duos work. If you want the recipient to have a complete experience to explore over weeks, the ritual boxes.

It depends on the set, and bundles flex more than you'd think (because you select scents within them).

Lean feminine: The Night Ritual Starter Kit (lavender base), Self Care Gift Box (white tea), Bath Ritual Set, and Shower Ritual sets. Florals and softer aromatherapy profiles. Most bundles default here unless you pick masculine scents within them.

Lean masculine: The Black Hatchet Men's Gift Box uses eucalyptus, peppermint, and cedar in packaging designed for a man's bathroom. If you're shopping for a man, start there.

Unisex or gender-neutral: Magnesium Ritual Box, Magnesium for Beginners, Magnesium Duo. Magnesium isn't gendered, and these sets skew functional (recovery, sleep, muscle tension) rather than fragrance-forward.

You set the gender by scent selection: The 6 Bath Soaks Gift Box, 6 Bath Bomb Gift Box, and Build a Box options. You can keep them florals, go all-eucalyptus, or mix.

Yes, in almost every case.

For bundles (most gift sets in this catalog), you select the specific scents for each product before checkout. If your recipient hates lavender, skip Calm soaks and pick Stress Relief, Energy Boost, or Wildflower instead. The product mix stays the same; only the scent profiles change.

For gifts you create yourself, the flexibility is total: you pick both products and scents.

The two exceptions are the Black Hatchet Men's Gift Box (fixed eucalyptus, peppermint, and cedar profile) and the Self Care Gift Box (fixed white tea). Those ship as listed, no swaps.

If your recipient has essential oil sensitivities or wants unscented, the Fragrance Free collection has lower-risk options outside this gift catalog.

When we hold sitewide sales, gift sets are typically included rather than excluded. The biggest discount window of the year is Black Friday and Cyber Monday in late November.

Two things worth knowing year-round:
Many of our bundles have a built-in bundle discount, so you're paying less than buying the individual products separately, with no sale required.

For big gifting holidays (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas), we announce promotions via our email list, usually about 3-4 weeks before the gifting day to give time for shipping.

If you want to time a purchase to a discount, keep an eye on the email about a month before each gifting holiday. Subscribing is the most reliable way to know.
