Under updated FDA MoCRA regulations, all aromatic ingredients - whether they’re pure essential oils or fully natural fragrances - must be listed on the label simply as “fragrance.”

This is a legal requirement, not an indication of synthetic ingredients.

Some brands still use older terms like “natural fragrance” or “fragrance + essential oils,” but many have not yet updated their packaging to the new guidelines.

At Latika, we always follow current regulations.

So when you see “fragrance” on our ingredient panel, it can refer to:

• 100 percent natural fragrance components
  
• Essential-oil-only blends
  
• Phthalate-free custom fragrances
  
  (depending on the collection — which we explain below)
  

Transparency means telling you exactly what that word means in the context of your product.

This is the collection for customers who love a full-sensory, colorful experience.

Fragrance:

• High-quality, phthalate-free custom fragrances
  
• Used at low, FDA-compliant percentages
  
• Designed to be enjoyable yet gentle on the skin
  

Colorants:

• Lab-enhanced, cosmetic-grade colorants
  
• Safe, approved for use in bath and body products
  
• Used in minimal amounts (often less than 0.4 percent)
  
• Allow for bright colors that rinse clean and don’t stain
  

Why we offer this:

Some customers want the vibrant, fun, bubbly bath — and we can deliver that safely, thoughtfully, and responsibly.

This is our “naturally fragrant” category, including collections formulated for Sprouts and other high-end health markets.

Fragrance:

• Only natural aromatic components
  
• Essential oils, plant essences, and natural isolates
  
• No artificial fragrance ingredients
  

Colorants:

• Mineral pigments like iron oxides, ultramarines, and micas
  
• Carefully formulated with a touch of emulsifier for a mess-free rinse
  

Why we offer this:

For customers who want a scented and colored product but prefer to avoid synthetic fragrance or lab-enhanced colorants, this option delivers a beautiful result with only natural ingredients.

Minimalistic, grounding, and focused on the therapeutic qualities of essential oils.

Fragrance:

• No fragrances of any kind
  
• Only pure essential oils - single notes or intentional blends
  

Colorants:

• Usually, no added color
  
• When color appears, it's from natural clays, botanicals, or herbs
  

Why we offer this:

Some customers prefer the simplicity and clarity of essential-oil-only products.

This is our most minimal and nature-driven option.

We don’t believe in labeling ingredients as “good” or “bad.”

Instead, we believe in giving you information, clarity, and choice.

Some people love colorful, fragrant baths. Some prefer completely natural ingredients. Some want the simplicity of pure essential oils.
