How a color-changing bath bomb works
A Color Changing Bath Bomb releases its colors in sequence. The first color fills the water as the bomb starts to fizz, and as it dissolves further, a second color comes through and takes over. You're watching the bomb dissolve in stages, and the timing is built into how each one is made.
The colors are chosen to disperse through the water and rinse clean, so you get two saturated colors in one bath and a clean tub after. They come in Pink Topaz, Lavender, Bluebonnet, Emerald and Agave.
How a geode bath bomb is made
Every Geode Bath Bomb is handmade, with crystalline details inspired by real geodes. Once it has dried, we paint the rim gold by hand, with a brush and a mineral color we make in-house.
That last step happens one bomb at a time, which is why no two are identical. Set two of the same color side by side, and you'll see the difference. They come in Rose Quartz, Turquoise, Amethyst, and Emerald.
What the color does for your bath
The scent, the fizz, and the oils are what your skin feels, and they're the same care that goes into every bath bomb we make: coconut, avocado, grape seed, and sweet almond oils with shea butter.
What the color changes is your attention. A bath you watch is a bath you're present for, and on a night when you'd otherwise scroll in the tub, that's worth a lot.
Getting the most from them
Wait until the tub is full. In still water, the colors come through one after another, the way they're made to.
Use it whole. The color change is built into the full bomb, so a whole one gives you the full show.

Will the color stain my tub?
